DIRECTV was a fun client to work with. They gave our team some creative freedom and often afforded us a little bit of money to do some engaging POS and attention grabbing collateral. The retailers loved these ideas as they were a huge departure from what was provided to them previously. Several of these were recognized by the Los Angeles Addys for art direction and creative direction categories.

DIRECTV Sunday Ticket
Complete with motion sensor technology, this POS display would chant “DEFENSE” and the crowd would cheer every time someone set off the sensor. Surely grabbing consumers' attention and likely driving store employees crazy. The following images show a variety of POS elements that ran in big box stores nationwide.
Not just bells and whistles, but roaring engines, driver radio conversations and screaming fans. This POS featured multi layer 3D construction and motion sensor technology that was activated as consumers approached. It was high impact, full throttle marketing at its best.
DIRECTV HD Programming
For a while there, HD programming was in full swing. DIRECTV led the industry in the number of HD channels available. As the number of channels grew, so did the request for promotional material for nationwide DIRECTV dealers.
